Hemant Kumar received his Bachelor’s in Law degree from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi. After completing his course, Hemant Kumar began his independent practice in New Delhi. It was during his initial phase of practice that he discovered how many litigants suffer from inadequate representation and in the process are left to make uninformed choices. Recognising the need for diligent lawyers who dedicate themselves to providing individualised attention to Client’s needs, Hemant Kumar founded “Chambers of Hemant Kumar” in 2012. He has since built the firm into a power house of committed and accomplished lawyers that is known in the legal community.
Hemant Kumar is admitted to practice pre dominantly in New Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Bangalore, Jaipur, Mumbai and has associates in around eleven States of India. He has membership of Delhi High Court and various District Courts of Delhi. Hemant Kumar has experience in various fields, with his practice indulging in litigation as well as pre-litigation consultation. Handling numerous cases, especially in Criminal Defence litigation, Hemant Kumar has created a niche in the legal field for himself and his firm.
He has been actively involved in legal awareness through various Non-Governmental Organisations, and has pursued several pro-bono cases on behalf of his firm.
In his private time, Hemant Kumar likes to spend time with his family and friends. He is also an avid reader and traveller.
